Foundresses Week

For Foundress week, I went to the Scavenger Hunt and walked through the Art Show. Although the scavenger hunt was mostly focused on information about the school. The art show was based on the environment, and there were multiple approaches taken. There was art that expressed the dangers of people cutting down trees only for the benefit of farming, wood, or paper. Also, there are beautiful man-made structures such as the Golden Gate or the Hoover Dam, they also destroyed the beauty of nature that God gave us. Justice for the environment was advocated at the art show and it stayed in line with the work of the Sisters of Notre Dame and Sister Dorothy Stang.
